My client, a large investment bank based in Midtown Manhattan, is currently recruiting for a senior meodel risk analyst to join their internal audit team. The roll will pay $80 per hour, depending upon experience. The roll will be initial 3 month contracts, on an indefinite rolling basis.Responsibilities will include:
- Assess and evaluate model inventory and model risk measurement
- Provide assistance with methodology and model validation
- Ensure the validity and reliability of information pertaining to:
- Retail Basel II Models
- Capital Planning Models
- Validate Compliance's objective in maintaining a robust compliance
culture and internal control environment through:
- Quality assurance process
- Internal and external reviews
- Internal Audit independent testing
- Assess whether the primary controls are adequate to address relevant
risks
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, accounting,
finance and related field.
- Proficient in Model Risk Management and FRB 11-7
- Demonstrated abilities with financial modeling, derivatives,
quantitative analysis, model development, model validation,
- Availability to work with a diverse group of individuals at all levels.
- Strong managerial, written and verbal communication skills,
analytical, problem-solving, organizational, decision-making and
interpersonal skills. - Ability to exercise discretion, work independently within broad
guidelines, tactfully handle sensitive and confidential data and
complete assignments timely. - Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals at all levels.
- Ability to travel (Mettawa, IL and NYC, NY)
