Description
My client, a large investment bank based in Midtown Manhattan, is currently recruiting for risk analysts to join their internal audit team, to assist with CCAR implementation. There are a range of rolls, from a mid to senior level, paying between $60 to $100 per hour, depending on the seniority of both the position and candidate. All rolls will be initial 3 month contracts, on an indefinite rolling basis.The CCAR team will be responsible for:
- Assess and evaluate risk management processes (risk inventory and
risk appetite)
- Assess internal capital adequacy metrics, strategic direction and
risk-weighted assets.
- Ensure the validity and reliability of information pertaining to:
- Federal Reserve Basel II; and
- Regulatory Capital Reporting (Call Report, FR Y-9C, FRY14)
- Assess whether the primary controls are adequate to address relevant
risks
- Assess whether the secondary controls are operating effectively
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, accounting,
finance and related field.
- Proficient in Federal Reserve Basel II & US Bank Regulatory Capital
Reporting.
- Demonstrated abilities with financial modeling, derivatives,
quantitative analysis, model development, model validation
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals at all levels.
- Strong managerial, written and verbal communication skills,
analytical, problem-solving, organizational, decision-making and
interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise discretion, work independently within broad
guidelines, tactfully handle sensitive and confidential data and
complete assignments timely.
