Salesforce Business Administrator
JOB SUMMARY
Serves as a senior, internal consultant and advisor between the client and technology group. Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of complex, company-wide, business problems relating to systems. Provides strategic and technical guidance to identify, evaluate and develop systems or automated processes. Applies knowledge of industry trends and technology to drive organizational change. Transforms strategic company architecture and design principles into specific systems requirement and specifications. Resolves issues and provides solutions that meet business requirement and are cost effective. Prepares specifications for system changes. Recommends and initiates systems testing. Re-engineers technical processes and systems for greater efficiencies with significant impact to business operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with the corporate sales team in developing optimal solutions using the Force platform for both internal and external applications
- Analyze (external and internal) business processes and performs needs assessments in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives
- Simultaneously lead business owner discussions and several complex projects with varied, multiple deliverables, team members and audiences requiring ongoing prioritization and relationship management
- Define functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system
- Identify project risks and creates mitigation plans
- Research and document detailed requirements in response to a system problem statement. These requirements need to be functional enough to be interpreted by end-users, and technical enough to hand off to a developer.

- Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business
- Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis
- Help enhance and improve department processes
- Follow Corporate Change Management process
- Support user training, Reporting & Dashboards (Adhoc)
- Own and drive the Deployment Process and the evolution according to evolving best practices
- Follow Incident Response processes and utilizes support tools
- Analyze and provide problem definition for production issues

REQUIRED

- 4+ year of Salesforce.com Administration
- Salesforce.com Certified Advanced Administrator
- 3+ years of IT Technical Project Management experience
- 4+ years of Business Analyst experience
- 8+ years of experience working with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- 8+ years of experience data gathering/analysis and writing system requirements
- Experience working across multiple parallel Salesforce.com project tracks converging on defined Release dates
- Proficient in Salesforce.com Administrative tasks focusing on creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Email Services, Approvals, Workflows, Reports, Dashboards, Tasks and Events
- Experience in working with Force.com or Eclipse IDE's

PREFERRED

- Technical knowledge of Practice Management or Electronic Medical Record systems
- Experience in working with relational databases such as MySQL, or SQL Server
- Hands on experience with Apex Language, Apex Trigger, Apex Class, Apex Test Methods, Apex Web Service, VisualForce Pages, VisualForce Components & Controllers
- Able to design, configure and maintain Enterprise user security model in compliance with organizational needs
