SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Sr Supply Chain Analyst conducts and/or manages strategic supply chain analysis and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Sr Supply Chain Analyst has working knowledge of operations and processes.

-Identifies the need for and collects information to better understand issues, problems, and opportunities and to communicate those opportunities to colleagues and/or leaders in Logistics, Operations or IS.

- Integrates information from a variety of sources including, but not limited to: E1, Manugistics, BPCS, SAP archives and/or individuals; this information is then used by the business to monitor progress toward goals and identify or confirm areas for improvement.

-Detects general trends, associations, and cause-effect relationships to provide useful information for business colleagues and partners to track progress and take action to meet customer requirements and achieve goals.

-Implements decisions regarding reporting methodologies, data sources and data integrity; initiates action within a reasonable time.

-Collects and/or extracts and cleanses data to provide performance results to Logistics colleagues and management.

-Provides analysis and trending on key performance metrics to facilitate continuous improvement efforts and progress.

-Participates on projects to improve practices and overall performance.

-Trains/mentors others in reporting practices and ERP systems

-Leads and/or works to identify best practices for implementation in Surgical Solutions data management and workflow application of software tools to support operations and logistics initiatives and improvements.

-Subject matter expert and resource to Logistics in systems and process automation enhancements

-Collects and/or extracts and cleanses data to provide performance results to Logistics colleagues and management.

-Provides analysis and trending on key performance metrics to facilitate continuous improvement efforts and progress.

-Participates on projects to improve practices and overall performance.
