Key Features -- This role is to support Industrial Design Director in a variety of activities including device & structural packaging design and be the liaison with vendors per Design Director direction
-Support CX Executive Director, Industrial Design Director and CX team members in defining device strategy for future devices & platforms
-Lead Amgen teams and vendors to develop new devices per CX prioritize therapies
-Support Industrial Design Director in the development of the Amgen Visual Language
Skills-
- Undergraduate Industrial Design (BFA or equivalent)
- 5-10 years experience leading teams and vendors to produce wonderful product design to manufacturing
- Developed and designed amazing products from concept to production
- Focused on the user and the experience to develop device solutions based on behavioral triggers promote persistency of use
- Medical device or Pharma experience preferred
- Experience developing Roadmap strategies
- Self motivated and an advocate for the user
- Solidworks experience preferred: Strong background in current ID related software and visualization techniques
