Works with Amgen management to provide investigative services. Plans, coordinates, and conducts audits of operational and financial areas in accordance with approved annual audit plans as requested. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in previous roles and the ability to manage multiple staff and projects simultaneously. Successfully manages and cultivates key relationships to ensure that Corporate Audit's scope of work and the objectives of the organization are completed in a cost-effective and timely manner. Exercises excellent judgment and initiative in handling sensitive issues for Corporate Audit, Finance/Accounting, Legal, Human Resources and others in the Company.

Skills and Experience -

Has project management responsibility for leading the direction and accomplishments of overall goals and objectives of the audit. Provides appropriate leadership and mentoring to Corporate Audit staff to achieve audit goals and objectives. Exhibits excellent to strong written and oral communication skills; excellent analytical skills; decisiveness; team building; leadership and excellent business acumen (knowledge of business drivers, finding solutions and knowledge of accounting, finance and other business areas). Discharges responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with The Institute of Internal Auditors' Code of Ethics, Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and Statement of Responsibilities.;
