Requirements
  • Solid software development and debugging skills and experience with the following languages - Required: Java, Desirable - C++, Python or Node.JS
  • Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux development
  • Experience with Distributed systems software such as Zookeeper, Cassandra, Redis, Memcached, MongoDB, Oracle Coherence and protocols such as Paxos, Gnutella a big plus.
  • Familiarity with distributed data management, and design/implementation tradeoffs in building high- performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems software.
  • Ability to quickly hack a solution, validate the trade-offs and make wise judgments with technical decisions
  • Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skill.
  • Team player that works well in collaborative situations and start-up like environments.
  • Strong grasp on computer science fundamentals
  • Experience with distributed databases preferable, not required.


    • Responsibilities:
  • Building distributed storage systems software.
  • Improving performance and scalability.
  • Diagnosing and debugging complex issues.
