My client is aggressively hiring qualified Design Engineers. The design engineers may spend rotational assignments in New Product Development, Operations, and Sustaining Engineering to grow their engineering skillset.
My clients' goal is that over the next three years, their engineering team will create break-through methods that keep improving and adapting their processes, while satisfying customer requirements. This capability will double their new product development capacity representing our best assurance of building the company to hand it off to the next generation of teammates financially sound.
Here are some of the responsibilities you will be tasked with:
- Design and analyze complex parts and assemblies to applicable standards
- Making decisions and providing technical data for decisions that impact compliance with design specifications
- Intensely involved in all phases of the design from analysis, testing, and qualification for production and sale to the public.
- Collaborate on project teams, lead project teams, and direct activities of team members.
- Create documents related to the design engineering function. Documentation of layout drawings, detail drawings, assembly drawings, Bill of Materials, and Engineering Change Orders, and design records.
- Works to ensure that the design complies with all specified regulatory agencies. Typically U.L., C.S.A., and F.D.A.
- Develops product and component test specifications. Actively participate as a team member of product research teams to acquire detailed product and user knowledge.
