Description
A top tier investment bank is resructuring their finance department and taking on more responsibility within their product control team. The new roles will be handling the day to day product control functions and directly facing off with the desk. This team does not handle the production side, but is soley responsible for the escalation and resolution of issues.We are looking for candidates who have strong experience in a product control role who can handle the day-to-day process as well as help implement the regulatory changes as it pertains to the organization. This group is going through a restructure and needs professionals who understand the product, process and will take ownership of the work at hand.
Strong product knowledge is required as well as an indepth understanding of the life cycle of a trade. We need people who are SME in either Equity, Credit or Rates as they are adding resources to all three departments.
Location: Downtown Manhattan
Duration: Contract to hire
Candidates must have:
- Equity Derivative Experience OR Credit OR Rates
- Minimum of 5+ years in a product control role
- Bachelor's or Masters degree within the following: Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering
- Proficient in Excel (VBA, V Look-ups, Pivot Tables, ect)
- Strong communication skills and ability to speak with senior management and traders
