Level II
  • Modify existing 2d vessel & assembly drawings based on redlines and check/complete Bill of Material.
  • Create P&IDs and PFD based on sketches and instruction from engineering
  • Create 3D models, depicting relationship of component and parts; identifying dimensions, angles, curvatures, tolerances and materials
  • Update pressure vessel calculations with guidance from Engineer, using pressure vessel software
  • Ensure quality of drawings according to department standards
  • Familiarity with ASME B31.3 process piping code and its application to design of package equipment


Level III
  • Models, details, documents and verifies mechanical, structural, electrical, electronic parts, subassemblies, assemblies or systems
  • Create 3-D models, depicts relationship of component and parts; identifies dimensions, angles, curvatures, tolerances and materials
  • Prepares pressure vessel calculations with minimal guidance from engineer using pressure vessel software
  • Makes various calculations and frequently uses charts and tables to accommodate the design process
  • Analyzing the effect of propsed changes for proper fit and/or interface problems; recommending possible solutions or alternate construction; modifying drawings as required; may confer with engineers to resolve issues


Level IV
  • Will mentor less experienced Designers
  • Meets any and all deadlines as required by project schedule and assists other Designers to meet their deadlines

  • Prepares Bills of Material and specifications; creates full package documentation required
  • Makes various calculations and frequently uses charts and tables to accommodate the design process
