Description
As a member of the Investment Applications Team, you will be responsible for the design, architecture, development and maintenance of applications within the Investment Coordination Systems group including the Cash Flow System, Cash Management System and integrating applications. You will be a part of the Investment Applications team within one of the most famous Investment Managers Globally and headquartered in Downtown Boston.In this position, you will participate in the architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and support efforts across all Investment Coordination applications. You will be responsible for the designing, prototyping and authorship of code for software components and applications in order to address complex business problems. You will also be providing technical direction to both onshore and offshore development team members with regards to iteration planning, release planning, and prioritization of work, so strong team work and communication skills are important.
In order to be successful, you will have significant development experience. The firm is looking for someone with more than 8 years professional experience developing applications in Java and at least 4 years experience utilizing Web 2.0 and browser based technologies.
