A leading Medical Device company in Minneapolis has an amazing opportunity as a Manufacturing Engineer on a 12 month contract paying $30-40/hour.This position is responsible for improving the manufacturing processes. The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with Operations, Process development, Test Engineering, and Quality, and Reliability engineers. A key focus on cost reduction.
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities include:
- Make use of tools such as DOE, SPC, hypothesis testing and capabilitiy studies to measure, monitor, and improve the manufacturing line
- Provide training to the Assmeblers and Technicians
- Implement GMP
- Utilize project management skills to drive continuous improvement activities
- Create written documents, test plans and reports that demonstrate technical rationale for associated decisions
Candidate requirements for this position:
- Bachelor of Engineering, or related science degree
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Experience creating written documentation to support manufacturing
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing / Sig Sigma methodologies
- Understanding of IQ, OQ and PQ
