To expand our search for great talent, a team that will be conducting interviews for experienced Reservoir Engineer candidates in Calgary, AB on May 16, 2014 and May 17, 2014 to fill roles based in Bakersfield or Long Beach, California.

Using state of the art tools, a Reservoir Engineer will characterize reservoir properties, assess development options, and orchestrate the implementation of reservoir management plans, all with the collaborative support and expertise required to deliver outstanding results. If your interests lie in driving large development drilling programs, reservoir surveillance, enhanced oil recovery, numerical simulation, or some combination of these activities, a job that may be the right fit for you.
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
- Proven success identifying and executing value-added projects.
- Knowledge of reservoir engineering concepts and applications.
- Knowledge of economic evaluation and business financial metrics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated creative and collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Enjoy a multi-discipline team environment.
- Must have current authorization to work within the US or qualify to work within the United States under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)
Additional qualifications required for certain positions:
- Demonstrated expertise in reservoir flow simulation using Eclipse, VIP, or others.
- Working knowledge of 3D geologic models (Petrel, etc.) as input to simulation.
- Minimum of 5 years of thermal surveillance experience.
