Description
I'm representing a market leading Medical Device company based in Minneapolis, who are looking for an experienced Human Factors Engineer to work within an established and dedicated team. Based on your background the salary range is 70/90K.As part of the Human Factors team- working in the Neuromodulation department- you will be involved in profiling end users and their environments, translating requirements into design solutions, risk and safety assessment, systems engineering and post launch surveillance.
The role itself requires you to deliver these human factor activities across entire product lifecycles and be able to communicate effectively the status of the project. As this a senior position, alongside hands on analysis you will also be required to mentor junior Human Factor Engineers on process improvement.
You must have:
- BS in Engineering, Human Factors, Psychology or a related subject
- 5+ years experience working in a Human Factors environment
Desirable skills:
- MS/PHD in relevant field
- Medical Device background or other regulated industry (aero/auto/defence)
- Experience with risk assessment
- Experience with visibility testing
- Familiarity with systems engineering
- Experience with CAPAs
- Extensive safety experience
