Description
Primary Responsibilities:- Work with engineering teams to support and assist in defining and implementing test plans.
- Support engineering and production operations release software under our established processes.
- Investigate and implement automation of manual tests.
- Execute spot-checks and other manual tests in our products.
- Act as a contact point for receiving, validating, and triaging product defects.
Requirements:
- Experience in implementing automated software delivery pipelines and continuous integration using tools such as Git and Jenkins.
- Four plus years of experience as a QA tester.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
- Good knowledge of Agile and continuous software delivery processes.
- Experience in defect triage and tracking.
- Working knowledge of Java-based web development frameworks.
- Desirable knowledge of Ruby on Rails MVC framework.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as: RSpec, JUnit, Selenium, and Cucumber.
- Working knowledge of *nix systems (Linux, OSX).
- Scripting skills on languages such as Bash, Ruby, and Python.
