Senior Production EngineerIndependent Oil & Gas Operator
Dallas, TX

Qualifications:
- 10-25 years of petroleum engineering experience, primarily focused in production engineering and/or operations engineering
- Completions experience is nice to have but not obliged
- Experience working for an operating company is required
- Strong artificial lift experience, particularly rod pump
- South Texas and/or West Texas experience preferred
- Prior experience mentoring younger engineers is a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the company's assets in South Texas
- Mentor two less-experienced Production Engineers
- Review and confirm daily production numbers
- Optimize/maximize daily production from each well
- Perform artificial lift design, evaluation, and optimization (rod pump, gas lift, etc.)
- Perform cost estimates, write AFEs, and negotiate pricing for all production and engineering projects related to production
- Perform review of key LOE items and optimize chemicals, paraffin treatment, and well workovers
- Perform engineering assignments and develop reports for management
- Travel to the field as necessary
- Other responsibilities as required
