Progressive Global Energy has been tasked with sourcing an experienced Sales Engineer for a leading international turbomachinery controls company. The focus will be to strengthen current accounts and create new business opportunities within the assigned territory. The Sales Engineer will be involved with face to face meetings, phone calls, trade shows and review blueprints and customer specifications to create and present estimates for control enhancement strategies. Must be located in Houston and able to work in the US without restriction.

Below is a list of the qualifications the successful candidate must have:

-A minimum of 5 years centrifugal compressor experience

-Engineering experience in rotating equipment

-Strong knowledge of scientific and technical writings

-Ability to give presentations to top management, public, and conduct formal speeches

Below is a list of key experience/knowledge the successful candidate must have:

-Come from a technical sales background

-Define problems and provide solutions to technical diagrams

-Ability to travel within the area and occasional international travel

-Detailed work with spreadsheets and Microsoft Office
