The focus will be on buying and expediting of items, follow up and ensuring shipping to the end user. The Buyer will partner closely with suppliers and must be able to evaluate and understand vendor performance.
Below is a list of the qualifications the successful candidate must have:
-A Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in business or technical engineering
-A minimum of 7 to 10 years related buyer experience
-Strong written and oral communication
-Self-motivated, problem solving abilities, continuous improvement and decision making skills
-Very strong Microsoft Excel skills
-Must be able to work in the US without restriction
Below is a list of key experience/knowledge the successful candidate must have:
-Able to utilize Excel to its full potential
-Negotiated contracts and understand why the company has the best price
-Team player and able to work with multiple departments at once
-Understand how vendor performance is ranked and strategic sourcing
