Application Support EngineerOur client in Midtown Manhattan is looking for very strong Application Support/System Engineers to fill a full-time position. Maximum salary is 170K. Most work visas can be transferred. Candidates must have expertise in UNIX, Perl and Trading Systems.
Responsibilities
- Aid support team in change/incident management
- Develop support metrics
- Maintain trade-capture system
- Support issue tracking system
Requirements
- Exceptional Perl scripting abilities
- Extensive financial knowledge
- Confident with Middle Office/Back Office systems
- Strong work experience in incident management
- Thrives under pressure
- Several years experience working with electronic trading systems
- Very strong experience with UNIX
