Description
The Software Engineerindividual will operate in all phases and contribute to all activities of the software development process.Position Responsibilities
? Design, develop and test Software in compliance with applicable regulations and processes.
? Define and implement software requirements and designs and review software developed by other team members.
? Participate in process improvement initiatives for the software team.
? Help maintain, improve and design new software tools. These tools use either Perl, Java, or C++.
? Work under general direction and collaboratively with internal and external partners
Basic Qualifications
B.S./B.A.in Computer Engineering/Science and 4+ years of software experience (or M.S. and 2+ years)
* Experience in C/C++
* Experience in software design, development, debug and test practices
* Experience in mobile software development, ex. iOS, Android
* Experience in web based technologies, ex. HTML5, Javascript and CSS
* Experience in Open Source development platform/tools, ex. Eclipse
* Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio development platforms/tools
* Experience with applications that support Medical Devices and highly regulated products.
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Experience with configuration management tools
* Proficiency working in a team environment
