Description
The Supplier Quality Engineer will be working within the Quality Compliance department providing support to perform qualifications of new suppliers and devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Supplier Quality.Responsibilities:
- Performing Quality Engineering activities for new product development projects
- Leading the Supplier Monitoring Program and offering Quality Assurance technical guidance and support to RI
- Managing the Supplier Performance Program and working with suppliers to drive CAPA
- Interfacing with production to implement supply chain based improvements to current products and manufacturing processes
- Performing qualifications and validation testing
- Conduct audits of suppliers
- Review/prepare test plans and reports such as First Article Inspections, Qualifications, and Validations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Five years experience in the Medical Device Industry
- Strong statistical background
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 3 years Supplier Quality experience within the Medical Device Industry
