Service Manager - Essex - £350 per dayAn Essex based NHS Foundation Trust seek an experienced Service Manager to join their successful team on a six month contract basis with extensions highly likely. The ideal candidate will have held a similar post within an NHS acute trust.
The Service Manager will report directly to Director level and assist in the leadership and direction of service staff ensuring the delivery of relevant activity and performance objectives. The successful Service Manager will be responsible for the day to day operational management of the service, maximising the delivery of patient-focused, modern, effective clinical services.
Services will include;
-Obstetric department
-Community maternity
-Gynae inpatient & outpatient
-Sexual health
To be considered for this post you will be an experienced NHS professional who has held a Service Manager post, or similar, achieving success. You will demonstrate and understanding of DoH initiatives including SLM, national standards, 18 weeks, cancer and 4 hour targets. The ideal Service Manager will also demonstrate a working knowledge of wider Governance (CNST) and patient safety and NHS commissioning processes.
A rate of £250-£350 per day is on offer for an initial six month contract.
