SAP Master Data Management consultant - Coventry - 3 month rolling contract £650 per dayThe Head of Data Management is responsible for overall data management and governance across a series of processes. This includes the establishment of and ensuring adherence to governance.
Key Responsibilities:
*Definition of a master data management strategy and standards across the business
*Implementation and enforcement of the data management methodology
*Definition and implementation of master data management target operating model
*Initial management of master data management teams
*Resourcing and initial management of data management capability
*Overall management of SAP programme data migration activities
*Ensuring implementation of appropriate data quality measures across and within business
functions
*Single point of contact for Global Data Management - policy, compliance and analysis
*Drives the business adoption of global data standards and support realisation of business
benefit
*Definition of tactical data management processes between programme releases
*Articulates the related business impact of data management and change
*Data archiving strategy development for decommissioned applications
*Management of 3rd party providers
Required Experience:
*Strong Project Management Skills
*Experience in deployment of transformation projects
*Experience of dealing with multiple vendors and business units
*Experience of implementing data management strategies and standards
*Experience of implementing dedicated master data management capability
Required Skillset:
*Strong business data understanding and business process knowledge
*Experience dealing with and gaining consensus from board-level stakeholders
*Business-facing IT experience in a global data management environment
