PL/SQL, Java, Technical Analyst, Oracle 10, Sun Solaris, Oracle Webforms.Technical Analyst with strong PL/SQL skills required for a 3 month plus project role in Brussels.
This will be to deliver high-quality technical specifications, convert functional designs into technical ones, and to program in existing applications in order to produce information-processing solutions that meet the needs of the business partner.
You will work on different projects where PL/SQL is requested for implementation. A JAVA knowledge is an asset as well as some modules are developed in JAVA.
Degree of knowledge required:
Oracle 10 : Very Good (development in a Oracle 10 environment).
SUN/Solaris 10 - Good
PL/SQL - Very Good
Oracle Webforms (generated via Oracle designer) - Medium

Scope of responsibility:
Programming new applications and changes to existing applications. Strong PL/SQL knowledge is key.
Oracle WebForms and JAVA technics are an added value.
Converting the functional analysis into a technical analysis (when the architect and the advisory technical analysts have decided that the technical solution will be PL/SQL oriented)
Input during the initiation phase of projects.
Support in the reuse of the application.
Updating technical documentation.
Testing developed programs.
Responsibility for the approach and results of the technical analysis, design, and development, within small, medium-sized projects/releases or parts of large projects/releases.
Know-how and complexity:
Knowledge at Master's level or similar level based on experience.
2 to 3 years of technical experience in a programming environment. PL/SQL deep knowledge required. Oracle Webforms should ideally been known. Additional value if knowledge of additional frameworks like JSP, J2EE, JPA, Spring and GWT. Skills in Oracle DB are an asset.
Applied knowledge of analysis and modelling tools, platforms, methodologies, programming languages, processes, or architectures, and basic knowledge of banking processes and products.
Spoken and written English skills.
Knowledge of procedures and standards (governance, compliance...).
