An excellent opportunity has presented itself for a UI .Net Developer to work a fantastic 6 month contract for one of our prestigious client in Cork, Ireland.The role will require constant interaction with other developers in the team and project management to develop and maintain a robust, scalable and performant system. The successful candidate for this role will have a minimum of 3 years commercial experience implementing high traffic web applications with highly dynamic user interfaces.
Desired Skills;
" 3+ years experience implementing high traffic web applications with dynamic UI.
" Minimum of 3 years commercial development experience in C# and ASP.Net
" Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery and other UI technologies essential
" Experience implementing front-end components optimized for speed and cross-browser compatibility.
" Knowledge of modern JavaScript programming patterns, such as client-side MVC, dynamic resource loading, JSONP, event-driven programming, etc.
" Exposure to .Net 4.5 and MVC 4 are essential
" Extensive experience converting visual designs to HTML, with an acute eye for detail and design fidelity. Specific experience building responsive designs would also be beneficial.
" Experience of TypeScript and Angular.js highly desirable though not essential for the right candidate.
" Experience of other javascript and CSS frameworks, such as YUI, CSS Grid (960, 1140), jQuery Mobile, Event.js, Node.js, Knockout.js, Modernizr and LESS would be beneficial but not essential.
" Exposure to agile development practices, especially SCRUM based, would be beneficial
" Knowledge of Restful and WCF Web Services, ADO.NET, Custom control development and SQL Server would all be beneficial.
" Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks such as Spring.net would be beneficial but not essential
" Awareness of code management solutions such as Team Foundation Server and Git.
" Comfortable with Test Drive Development using mocking frameworks and libraries eg. RhinoMocks, Moq, MsTest, NUnit, Qunit etc
" Familiarity with development across multiple form factors would be beneficial
" Knowledge of popular social media plugins, such as Facebook and Twitter, along with their relevant APIs
" Any experience with Umbraco or similar content management systems would be considered a bonus
" A portfolio showcasing a track record of creating strong User Interface development experience
