Much of the work is on cutting edge implementations using System on Chip architectures from the leading silicon vendors. Work undertaken ranges from blue-sky research and technical feasibility studies to design, development and integration projects.

Our client works primarily in a DigitalTV/STB environment, therefore, somebody with experience in this sector is extremely desirable. However, the client would like to keep an open mind and if you have skills and strengths in a related field you are also welcome to apply.
You will participate in a number of projects that involve a mixture of hardware design/development, schematic capture/layout, validation and manufacture of products for the Digital TV and Broadcast Industry.
You will work as part of a team reporting to a technical lead or project manager but will have considerable exposure to our clients and other partners, The ability to understand and communicate complex issue clearly is essential. You must have a working knowledge of modern development tool s and infrastructure. Knowledge of high volume consumer electronic design, validation, approval and analysis The ability to lead a project team and manage customer expectations.
Our client is looking for somebody with the following skills:
Knowledge of analogue & digital electronics design
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Strong hardware debug ability using high speed oscilloscopes, logic analysers and other standard test equipment with a good understanding of measurement and calibration issues
Knowledge of the technologies, silicon interfaces & specifications used in the Digital TV Industry
The ability to use the relevant tools to model, simulate, design and create schematic & PCB files.
