Job Description:The role of field architect will focus on the advance consultancy to the program management team, technical advice and mentoring to the development and testing team during execution and identification of opportunities to bring in operational excellence through the adoption of technologies, tools and best practices.
Principal Responsibilities
- Envision the integration issues during the program planning stage
- Align to the technical reference architecture during project execution
- Incorporate the technical aspects from IT strategy during the implementation
- Guide and mentor team when tackling technical hurdles during execution
- Bring in optimization and efficiencies by leverage tools and techniques during execution
- Guide team about the deployment and maintainability perspective during the design and construction of the application
- Discuss and brain storm with technical and functional architects of the program to challenge decision and approaches on merit
- Document step by step details to achieve the to-be architecture and design
- Propose technology transformations proactively, highlighting the need for the same with a clear business proposition.
Skills and Experience-
- Experience in distributed systems and knowing how application layers are interacting (Java/J2EE, SOA, ESB, TIBCO/BPMS, Mobile - iOS/Android/HTML5/CSS3, TIBCO/BW)
- At least, 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, in a multi-layered architecture
- Has played the role of overseeing architecture assistance in projects to ensure alignment
- Ensure that the description and update of the current and target IT architecture are done with consistency, relevance and quality
- SOACP (Analyst certification) or TOGAF certifications will be preferable
- Assist in organisational , functional and technological changes
- Uniformly monitoring the proper conduct of all builds
- Ensuring technical risks are monitored throughout the course of the project
