Chief Technology Officer- Somerset- £70-75kComputer Futures are currently seeking a senior Chief Technology Officer to join a fast growing company E commerce company based in the South West of England.
My client is looking for an experienced "hands on" senior, who has an extensive background in Development. You will report directly to the COO and will head up the whole Development function. As a result, a background as a senior developer is necessary.
You will be assigned to orchestrate the redesign of the Development function and implement new Systems within the company.
This position is based in Somerset however occasional travelling (abroad) should be expected.
You will have experience with languages such as Java, C# and Delphi. You will also have a substantial amount of experience of managing teams, as you will be responsible for a team of 50 developers and a team of 2 web designers.
A good knowledge and understanding of Intellectual Property Rights, Patent and Copyright laws would be highly advantageous for this role.
In order to be successful you must:
Have a background in Development
Have recently coded in Java, C#, C++ and Delphi
Be able to communicate efficiently to members of the board
Have a background within E Commerce
Experience of managing teams previously
