My client is urgently seeking 3 x Study Managers to work for their small but expanding employee owned consultancy based near Leatherhead on a 6+ month rolling contract. Rates are between £50-£85 per hour depending on experience.

The work will involve continued expansion of their engineering consultancy business. The work is varied and stimulating, covering pre-project studies and early phase engineering projects for greenfield developments, brownfield upgrades and operations support, onshore and offshore.

The Role:

? Study and project management with direct responsibility for meeting quality, schedule and cost requirements,
? Interfacing with clients through progress meetings, presentations and site visits,
? Technical management and supervision of engineers performing process and multi-discipline studies,
? Development of work plans, schedules and estimates for execution of complete studies / projects, and
? Assisting less experienced process engineers in developing their process engineering skills.

Qualifications and Experience:
We require applicants to have a degree in Chemical Engineering (1st or 2.1), Membership of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, and the unrestricted right to work in the UK.

We expect applicants to have at least 10 years of experience in process engineering for oil and gas facilities, both on and offshore, including 5 years in pre-project, feasibility and conceptual studies. Specific experience in the following is preferred:

? Technical management and supervision of a number of less experienced engineers,
? Working in a multi-discipline environment and co-ordinating requirements of different disciplines,
? Capacity evaluations and brownfield modifications for offshore oil and gas production facilities, and
? Reporting, presentation and explanation of technical issues to external clients.

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate:

? Ability to work in a multi-discipline team to develop solutions focused on client objectives,
? Excellent interpersonal communication and commercial skills,
? Enthusiasm for facilities engineering and the desire to develop their abilities in study and project management, and
? Willingness to undertake Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training.
