Description
Leading the Validation team, you will be responsible for testing of the unique micro-Combined Heat and Power (mCHP) appliance both within a purpose-built test facility and during field trials. You will play a key part in taking the appliance from design to production.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To lead validation testing projects related to the mCHP product line, taking personal responsibility for successful completion of these tests.
- To provide leadership and mentoring to junior colleagues within the Validation team.
- To help plan, execute and report validation testing (testing against engineering specifications) of the mCHP appliance within a purpose built facility.
- To oversee and sign-off validation test reports for use in all parts of the business, documenting analysis of technical issues and proposing solutions.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years' experience working within a product validation (i.e. within a test laboratory) environment is essential.
- Experience of testing against EN/BS standards within a test house environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the test process and scientific method.
- Ability to prepare high-quality technical reports for internal/external use.
- Experience of managing technical people within a variety of test activities.
