Description
Senior-QS/QS to be responsible for working closely with our Client and with our Project and Site Managers and onsite team to deliver:a) Control of project costs, variations and contract terms to ensure budget and margins are maintained whilst minimising risk.
b) Preparation of account development reviews and reports to Clients and the Commercial Manager on a regular basis.
c) Maintain regular Client contact and attend progress meetings on site to understand any issues (ongoing monitoring of the Project).
d) Issue Sub Contract Works Orders, review and approve Sub-Contractor Applications for Payment and Issue Payment Certificates on a timely basis.
e) Measure Sub-Contractor performance and quality of work
f) Prepare and issue interim payment applications to Client (Milestone basis).
g) Settle final accounts on projects authorising purchase orders for payment to both Clients and Sub Contractors.
h) Flag up any problems early and try and resolve with Client
Experience in the on-site Construction industry (Power or Petrochemical), with good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, be a true team player and enjoy working closely to deliver on the Project.
