Rate: £400 - £450 Daily rate.
Role Description:
My client is looking to bring in a contract SAS Developer. The SAS Data Integration (DI) Developer position will consist of working with a data analytics team on large data sets supporting a number of projects.
In this role, the candidate will be required;
- Build and Configure SAS Staging and Data Marts (including ETL processes) using SAS DI Studio.
- Run data batches and undertaking data investigation on a daily basis from the Data Warehouse.
- Support Design of SAS Staging and Data Marts for programme implementation.
- Test and support SIT / UAT test activities where required.
- Support New Data Set Builds across the risk platform
Desired Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years SAS experience, specifically with latest version of SAS DI Studio. Experience with other SAS tools - SAS BI, Enterprise Miner, Enterprise Guide is desirable, however not essential.
- Experience with SAS Base / Macros / SQL / ETL is desirable.
- Proven experience of working with large data sets / data management.
- Good communication skills; required to liaise with other departments and technical explanations to clients when required.
