SAP Business Objects Administrator-£450 p/d-Staines-Start ASAP- 1 Month

Role:

My client are looking to recruit an experienced SAP Business Objects Administrator with technical administration experience for the duration of 1 month. You will assist their Technology and Standards team with the design and implementation of an enhanced SAP Business Intelligence/Business Objects service. My client already provides support to their SAP Business Objects clients and you will be helping them to implement enhancements to the service which are already defined.

Responsibilities include:
* Review of their defined service scope and input to enhancements.

* Implementing and testing a monitoring environment in a test environment based on SAP Business Objects best practices including use of Solution Manager and CA Wily Introscope as appropriate.

* Finalisation and documentation of the appropriate set of monitoring, alerts and reporting to ensure that client Business Objects environments are functioning correctly and to required performance levels

* Implementing the above in a test environment and testing correct operation of the same. Documenting the testing process and results.

* Assisting deployment of the same monitoring and administration configuration to my clients production environment alongside the internal SAP team.

* Documenting a housekeeping guide which provides clear instructions for day to day administration of their client SAP Business Objects/BI solutions according to the agreed service scope.

* Training of their staff on the content of the Management & Housekeeping Guide and use of the administration toolset. Recommending required external training needs.

Person / Skills Required:

* Must have experience in SAP Business Objects XI R2, Business Objects XI R3.0/3.1, and Business Objects Business Intelligence 4.0/4.1.

* Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP Business Objects implementation.

* Specific experience of set up of administration toolsets and administration of Business Objects/BI including use of Solution Manager and other best practice tooling.

* Ability to multitask on various deliverables.

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to mentor others.

* Excellent organisational skills.

* Proactive approach to work.

* Excellent documentation skills.
