Description
My client is looking for a Buyer who can drive continuous improvement within the supply base.They will Influence a range of key internal stakeholders to support and buy in to chosen strategy. They will be responsible for managing the tender process, negotiation and subsequent contracting for service/product provision.
The roleholder will also monitor the financial performance against the target plan, and investigate into any variances found in the appropriate ways. They will also support the supplier management policies to ensure consistent practises and develop supplier relationships.
The successful candidate MUST have:
-Extensive experience within procurement
-Strong negotiation skills
-Excellent Relationship Management: Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a variety of levels (incl Senior Management).
-The ability to influence at a senior management level
-Experience with process improvement to reduce cost base and improve value proposition
