I am currently in the process of arranging interviews for a key client within Huxley engineering, the client is based in Stockport in Manchester and is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for a 6 month project.Experience & Skills Needed
- Mechanical engineer, qualified to a minimum of HNC level.
- Experience of the design, testing and development of mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Experience working with large mechanical structures
The project involves an upcoming design, development and testing of a military holdall unit for hoses based in both the office and shop floor.
Understanding of the following is needed;
- Working drawings
- Mechanical structures
- Calculations
- Test specifications
- Liaising with suppliers
Contract: 6 month indicative
Notice: 1 week either party
Hours: Circa 45 hours per week, same rate all hours
Location: Stockport
