Computer Futures is looking for experienced SQL Techical Lead for one of our esteemed IT Services client.

Role Type:
Contract duration: 3 to 6 months
Work location: Hook
Rate: 350 to 400GBP/day

Required Skills:
* Should have expertise in understanding the ETL concept
* Should have in depth knowledge of databases (mainly SQL Server)
* Should have understanding of the range of options and best practices for common ETL design techniques such as change data capture, key generation and optimization
* Should have worked in SQL SSIS (Version 2008 and 2012)
* Should have developed SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages to transform data
* Should have knowledge in designing and creating interface stored procedures used in SSIS to load transform data to the database
* Proven experience designing and managing a large data warehouse integration engagements
* Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable integration solutions
* Advanced experience with MSSQL BI stack mainly SSIS (good to have SSAS and SSRS)
* Advanced SQL expertise with T-SQL and stored procedures as well as MDX
* Advanced RDBMS experience designing and modelling star/snowflake schemas in an analytic/reporting environment
* Advanced knowledge of best practices in data warehousing and business intelligence
Roles and Responsibilities
* Design ETL processes and develop source to target data mappings, Integration Workflows and load processes
* Execute entire components of large ETL projects from start to finish leading the development teams, mitigating issues, and communicating status to stakeholders
* Expert skills writing complex SQL queries and experience with SQL Server 2012 tools (SSIS, SSAS)
* Exceptional understanding and experience with relational datasets, data warehouses, data mining and data ETL techniques
* Experience leading the implementation of Business Intelligence solutions from the ground up following a defined methodology
* Managing and executing various data mart projects and processes for various businesses
* Team player with strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skill
