SQL DBA Developer Required - Oxford - £350 - £400

My Client seeks an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator/ Database Developer to join the Marketing Operations team to help maintain and support the SQL Server base. You will possess a deep background in data integration, and Reporting methods, with specific experiences in various industries or functional areas. This is an outstanding opportunity to serve as in-house expert and authority that leads and promotes innovative data design and is responsible for the overall plans to initiate and pursue continuous data quality improvements.

You will need to be highly organized and adaptable to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, joining a small team that will form the core of the marketing operations department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and maintain clustered 2012 SQL Server environment where various Marketing Databases are housed
- Setup and maintain Setup SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and SSAS Services (SQL Server Analysis Services)
- Conduct database performance tuning, troubleshooting, support, and capacity estimation.
- Gather reporting requirements as part of a project team. Help translate those requirements into working data model designs in the form of views/functions/packages/tables which can be delivered as part standard reporting
- Conduct thorough testing of code changes to ensure quality of data produced.
- Become expert in multiple business/data areas, with respect to analysis and reporting, including our Tech Support, Customer Service, and Web Community areas. Learn the data models of source systems and target reporting databases, as well as the underlying data, and leverage that knowledge in support of users and reporting projects.
- Develop and adhere to SDLC standards and best practices.
- Provide day-to-day support and mentoring to end users.
