This is an exceptionally rare opportunity for a Microsoft Dynamics AX Analyst to work a 6 Month contract progressing into a home based role in the long term.
Our Client urgently requires a Dynamics AX Analyst to join their already exceptionally strong work force as their business continues to grow rapidly in 2014.
This Company has prime placement in the Wiltshire area with candidates joining a fantastic team developing and implementing the latest Microsoft AX 2012 software for deployment throughout the group in 2014.
Daily Activities:
- Provision of Microsoft AX expert user capability
- AX Business Applications Development and Support
- Finance skills / background
- Validating data quality
- Mapping of charter accounts, ledger structures
- Defining requirements
- Data Analysis
- Gap Analysis
Key Skills:
- Broad understanding of manufacturing and supply environments, commercial and financial business processes
- In depth AX application and database knowledge; sufficient to provide end user support and application development expertise
- The ability to make configuration and code changes within AX
- The ability to effectively use report writing and BI tools (Skilled in SQL, VB)
- The ability to work with the MS Data Migration tools within AX
- The ability to communicate with the systems integrator during development and deployment and 2nd / 3rd line support teams to identify and explain issues and problems
- The ability to work with and interpret end user needs and develop comprehensive requirements specifications for the full spectrum of business functions
- Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing
Person Profile:
- Experience of AX as a support analyst or consultant could provide the required application / environment knowledge needed for this role
- Confident, self-motivated, professional, able to prioritise and work on own initiative without supervision
This role is expected t become a group function providing AX support to both the UK and abroad!
Although not assumed to be on a permanent basis at this stage there is strong potential for the role to become home based in the long term!
