Description
My client in the North Yorkshire area is looking to recruit a Linux DevOps Engineer to join a rapidly growing IT department for an initial 6 month contract.My client is looking for experience across a broad range of technical skills as listed below;
- Strong knowledge of of PC & Server OS systems and hardware such as;
Windows, Linux, Unix, Linux Redhat, Linux Ubuntu server, MAC OS, Linux Fedora.
- Development using technologies such as;
J2EE, Borland C, C++, VB.net, JAVA, Komodo & Netbeans.
- Excellent understanding of Server aspects of Microsoft applications such as;
Sharepoint, Exchange, Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and other server apps for Linux.
- Strong working knowledge of various Infrastructure technologies such as;
VMWare, Citrix, Hyper V, Active Directory, Exchange Server.
