If you are an all round electrical engineer that has worked in the water industry the this position may be for you?

I am currently recruiting for a MEICA engineer on a 6 month contract with high possibility to be extended into the AMP6 framework.

Preferred an all-round engineer in a demanding environment ( such as continuous plant operation / manufacturing )with experience in the following:
  • Full project cycle MEICA and commissioning input ( from outline design look at MEICA install and commissioning to final commissioning and handover )
  • Able to write commissioning plans
  • Able to write commissioning procedures
  • Able to carry out hands on commissioning activities
  • Electrical conversant to 17th edition, or 16th edition and working towards 17th edition
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the process as a whole and commission in a structured manner
  • FAT testing and management of close out of defects found
  • Demonstrated ability to carry out trouble shooting
  • Conversant with documents such as Control Philosophy, Functional Design specification and User Requirement specification
  • CSCS card required
  • Water Hygiene card required

The person:
  • Degree in Electrical engineering or otherwise suitable experience ( time served )
  • Meticulous
  • Approachable when client facing
  • Pro-active
  • Structured and organised
  • Able to lead teams
  • Strong overall engineering focus
  • Team player

Location: Various sites across the southern Severn Trent Area.
Minimum H&S requirements:
  • CSCS card relevant to discipline
  • EUSR Water Hygiene card
  • EUSR SHE card
  • Electrical Safety and permit to work system ( knowledge and experience )
