Role: UI Web Developer

Location: Cork

Type: Daily Rate Contract

Contract Length: 6 Months with a strong possibility of an extension

A major client in the healthcare industry is seeking a highly experienced UI web developer to join their team on an initial 6 month daily rate contract. The candidate will be working on the design and build applications based on defined business criteria and provide an accurate estimate for expected time of completion of a project. You will be working as part of a team of talented developers in a relaxed and highly productive environment.

General Requirements
  • The ideal candidate must be educated to a degree level and have a minimum of 10 years commercial development experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technically-astute team members and non-technical business clients.
  • Analytical ability required in identifying user problems and creativity required to present effective solutions.
  • Ability to work on own initiative in a proactive manner individually and in a team environment
  • Fluency in English absolutely essential along with a valid work permit for Ireland


UI Developer
  • Core Technical Requirements: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JQuery, Angular and JS frameworks), AJAX, Restful (XML/JSON) Web Services, Apache, Prototyping.
  • Highly Desirable Technical Requirements: UX , Advanced level knowledge of Oracle (9i, 10G), PL/SQl, SQL
  • Expertise in at least one MVC JavaScript framework (ExtJS, AngularJS, EmberJS,Backbone, etc)
  • Desirable Technical Requirements: Enterprise Java, Spring, JSP, Subversion, Hudson, Maven, Windows, Linux, JBoss, Tomcat.
