Embedded Software Engineer - Permanent - ReadingEmbedded Software Engineer required for aleading ANPR/machine-vision company. The company are looking for a bright, ambitious embedded software engineer to compliment this forward thinking company.
Length: Permanent
Salary: Highly competitive salary to get the best developer available
Location: Reading
Start Date: ASAP
The Role:
- Working on New and existing products, working closely with the software manager and multi discipline teams to complete projects and meet deadlines.
- Hands on embedded software design, and opportunities to gain good exposure within the software team.
Key Skills:
- Embedded C/C++ and Assembly
- Linux/Windows Operating Systems
- ANPR or Machine Vision or Image Processing
- Strong understanding of the software development cycle
- Real-time and DSP
Desirable Skills:
- HTML
- HTTP
- Electronics Knowledge (Microcontroller, device drivers)
- Networking Protocols (RS232/ Ethernet/ USB)
- Post graduate qualification in image processing or other relevant subject
