Sharepoint Consultant: 6 months contract in South County Dublin.National utilities provider is currently seeking an experienced Sharepoint Consultant to assist in the design development and administration of Sharepoint sites and customizations.

Duration 6 months
Location: South County Dublin
You will have at least three years experience working with Sharepoint projects and be comfortable working in a fast paced and challenging environment. All projects co-ordinated in-house are based on the Sharepoint Server, with people accessing from all sides of the business. Having recently upgraded to 2013, the organisation are now looking to add an experienced consultant to their team to work with the latest versions and provide support and development where necessary.
Day to Day
Gathering requirements and translate business needs/language into technical requirements, working with end users & various stakeholders to coordinate activities affecting the projects utilizing SharePoint. Troubleshooting all issues, customizing workflows and administering integration with Active Directory.
Developing and designing specs for SharePoint platform and the maintenance and management of the Sharepoint environment.
Skills
- Third level qualification in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 3+ years experience developing/deploying SharePoint solutions.
- 3+ years experience of SharePoint Administration
- Working knowledge of Windows 2008 Active Directory
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of .NET Framework to create custom web parts
