Description
An experienced DevOps engineer with a systems administration background is required for a global Retail company based in London, who will help to improve and automate the configuration and release workflows.This is a 6 Month contract paying up to £550 a day.
Primary job responsibilities:
- Administration, configuration and improvement of continuous integration system
- Preparation of custom builds and environments
- Automation of routine tasks
- Configuration of systems and networks
- Systems monitoring and performance tuning
- Disaster recovery
- Advanced knowledge of Git and repository management systems (Github or Bitbucket or Stash)
- TeamCity administration and configuration (on demand agents, integration with Selenium and unit tests, performance tuning)
- Knowledge of .NET framework, MSBuild and IIS
- Linux (1+ year) and Windows (1+ year) administration
- Experience in creating Shell or Ruby or Python or PowerShell scripts
- MySQL administration (backups, replication, performance tuning)
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Amazon and/or Azure)
- DNS
- CDNs (CacheFly)
- Experience working in Agile team

- Puppet, Chef, Graphite, Varnish, Vagrant etc would be really nice to have!
