X2 Systems Administrator- Swindon- 3 Month Contract (with extensions)

This is a great opportunity for an Systems Administrator to become part of a team. The role has come about as existing members of staff support with another project and looking for those who have demonstrable experience of data transformation and load to step into their shoes. The predominant responsibilities of this role are to provide technical support to the OBIEE environments.

Role: x2 Oracle Systems Administrator
Rate: £ dependant on experience
Start Date: ASAP

Location: Gloucester, Commutable from: Swindon, Cheltenham, Stroud

Responsibilities will include:
  • Perform installations of Weblogic, OBIEE Server, OBIEE Presentation Severs, OBIEE Scheduler, OC4J or any other Web Server JDK/JRE, Oracle Client Installation,. Helping users with OBIEE briefing book component and OBIEE MS Office component installations , BI Publisher
  • Manage and configure the Multi User Development environment, ensuring auditable code changes. OBIEE scheduler, Usage Tracking, Security integration between RPD and BI Publisher ,Repository Sever and Presentation Server configuration changes , Cluster Configuration and managing the cluster cache
  • Patch OBIEE and its other integration components as required


The candidate must have demonstrable experience of most the 6 years doing:
  • Proficient in the concepts, design, development, test and support of the following technologies: Oracle and BI logical SQL
  • Expert technical knowledge in supporting the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g (OBIEE) modules including interactive and enterprise reporting, ad-hoc query and analysis
  • Previous experience in full lifecycle implementations of new OBIEE environment processes using a formal implementation methodology (experience with OBIEE System 11g preferred).
