Job Role: Management Information AnalystType: Contract
Rate: £250-£350 pd

Start Date: Immediate - 12 months
Overview:
A truly national company that provides services across the UK require an experienced Management Information (MI) Analyst to join their MI team. Rapid growth and expansion has catalysed the availability of this role.
Responsibilities will include
Driving the business forward with meaningful data and reporting
Collaborating with technical and non-technical individuals in order to develop advanced reporting, analysis and presentation of data using SQL, Excel and SSRS
Project work, broad range of transactional activity, ad-hoc requests
Implementing continuous improvement by reviewing existing MI reports and identifying areas of improvement on service delivery and product quality aspects
Decipher business process and operational documentation into technical requirements and ensure
Duties:
* Ability to translate business process and operational documentation into technical requirements and work across the MI team to ensure the final MI product is of a consistently high standard.
* Analysing code and data quality to identify emerging trends and issues that need to be resolved.
* Creation and maintenance of standard documentation pertaining to reporting requirements, version control of code, and procedural guidance notes to complete the delivery reporting tasks.
* Fielding ad hoc requests for information from internal/external clients
* Handle confidential information in line with the firms data security protocols
Essential:
The candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
* Strong knowledge of SQL and Visual Studio, with a competent level of SSRS experience.
* Advanced Excel (to VBA macro level), with strong data manipulation and visualisation skills.
* Good analytical skills with a structured and methodical approach.
* Ability to work under pressure and to SLA's and KPI's
Desirable:
Experience of statistical modelling (in Excel, SPSS or equivalent)
* Experience of the Elite financial system and Hornbill IT service management system
* Knowledge of PHP (to a basic standard)
* Awareness of ITIL (v3) service principles
