Job Role: MIS Data Analyst - South Wales - £30,000

Overview:

Opportunity to work for a rapidly growing GLOBAL organisation based in Cardiff who are looking for an experienced MI/Data Analyst to work within a vibrant and energetic team. This is a career developing opportunity with ample chances of career progression. The company has experienced growth on growth throughout the recession which has lead to vast expansion catalysing the requirement for this role.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Driving the business forward with meaningful data and reporting
  • Collaborating with technical and non-technical individuals in order to develop advanced reporting, analysis and presentation of data
  • Project work, broad range of transactional activity, ad-hoc requests
  • Implementing continuous improvement by reviewing existing BI reports and identifying areas of improvement on service delivery and product quality aspects
  • Oversee the analysis of the quality of data and code in order to recognize emerging trends and concerns that require resolution
  • Experience with MS Excel and VBA


Qualifications/Experience:

Essential:
  • Consistent drive for greater efficiency and proficiency
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Commercial awareness and a degree of business acumen
  • Adept communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good people skills with the aptitude to work well autonomously or as a team member


Desirable:
  • Experience/Knowledge of Business Intelligence development
