I currently have a requirement for a Finance Risk Manager, on a contract basis, for a leading bank based in Edinburgh.Location: Edinburgh
Duration: 9 months
Rate: £ p/d
Start Date: ASAP
The role holder will have responsibility for the following activities:
- Manage the ongoing operation of an effective and efficient Financial Control Framework across the Finance and Treasury community;
- Ensure compliance with Bank policy and support the identification of Financial Reporting risk across Finance through clear ownership and effective monitoring and reporting;
- Oversee the annual control testing plan in line with FCF requirements and communicate test outcomes to stakeholders, agreeing action plans to mitigate weaknesses where required;
- Manage the monthly Balance Sheet attestation process across Finance to ensure that reconciliations and attestations are performed to validate Balance Sheet numbers reported to internal executive team, board and to external regulators;
- Assist in the delivery of an ongoing programme of communication and training across the Finance Community with respect to Financial Control.
