My client, a leading multi brand organisation that mainly operate across, retail, FMCG and financial services are seeking to recruit an Internal Audit Senior for their growing internal audit department. The company has a large presence in the UK and have a very exciting future ahead.Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal audit across a number of divisions.
- Support the Audit Manager in facilitating risk workshops and meetings to help management identify, assess and manage key business risks
- Support the Audit Manager in developing the risk-based audit plan
- Manage workload to lead and deliver multiple audits
- Develop recommendations that balance both commercial considerations and the assurance requirements of the business
- Provide real-time support and challenge to management when developing and implementing new processes
- Contribute to team success through initiating, leading and implementing continuous improvement activities in the team.
- Clear risk assessment, linked to key business objectives
- Audit plan / audits completed to time, budget and quality standards
Require Experience
- Demonstrable experience and understanding of internal risk and controls
- Prior internal or external audit experience in a FTSE 100 company
- Confidence and track record of leading audits
- Proven track record in developing strong stakeholder management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- IT application control experience and system knowledge
- Leadership / management potential demonstrated at interview
- Demonstrable ability to apply sound judgement
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
