Systems Engineer - Online - City - £40k - exciting new technologiesWindows/ Linux/ Scripting/ IIS
Do you script/ automate/ configure at home in your own time and want the opportunity to gain commercial experience?
A fantastic position has become available within a small but technically strong team of 4 engineers within one of the best world wide known online companies.
You would be able to work on a huge variety of technologies, mainly in the Windows, but you will also gain hands on experience in Opensource, salt stack and other new technologies. You would be working on a lot of up and coming projects, including DC relocation, migrations and new configuration and monitoring tools.
You would be working closely with the Linux, Networking, DBA and Cloud teams.
The offices are in a great location, with an exciting atmosphere.
Essential:
Windows Server
IIS
Scripting
SAN/ NAS
Any experience (even at home) with configuration, scripting & automation tools would be a great fit for the team and a chance to gain experience in an commercial environment.
The right person for this role will be interested in a wide range of technologies both at work and home - maybe having a lab set up at home where you test configuration management, automation & scripting.
